Design Thinking Hackathon

In an era of rapid change and increasing challenges, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MiSK) for Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with the Rainz Foundation, organized the Design Thinking Hackathon. This hackathon was more than just a tech gathering; it was a unique opportunity for young men and women from diverse backgrounds to come together and share ideas that could transform society. More than 65 participants, with big dreams and high ambitions, gathered in one place, united for one goal: creating innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Design Thinking Hackathon

OVERVIEW

During the first days, interactive sessions and workshops were organized to identify the challenges facing the community. A combination of brainstorming and in-depth analysis was involved, as participants broke down problems into smaller parts and understood the root causes of each challenge. With expert support, the most critical areas requiring urgent intervention and innovative solutions were identified.

Presented solution

Participants were divided into small teams. Each group began exploring ideas using design thinking tools. This phase was full of energy and creativity, as everyone was encouraged to think outside the box and propose new and unconventional solutions. Collaboration and integration between the teams was remarkable, as different ideas combined to create unprecedented solutions. In the next phase, participants began to translate their ideas into prototypes. They used simple materials and modern techniques to create these models. The goal of this phase was to transform ideas into something tangible that could be tested with target audiences. This wasn’t just a technical exercise; it was a challenging experience that demonstrated the power of creativity and teamwork.
