During the first few days, interactive sessions and workshops were organized to identify the challenges facing the community. There was a combination of brainstorming and in-depth analysis, where participants broke down problems into smaller parts and understood the root causes of each challenge. With the support of experts, the most critical areas that required immediate intervention and innovative solutions were identified.
The participants were divided into small working groups. Each team began exploring ideas, utilizing design thinking tools. This phase was filled with energy and creativity, where everyone was encouraged to think outside the box and present new and unconventional solutions. The collaboration and integration between the teams were remarkable, as diverse ideas merged to create unprecedented solutions.
In the next phase, participants started transforming their ideas into prototypes. They used simple materials and modern techniques to create these models. The goal of this stage was to turn ideas into something tangible that could be tested and experimented with by the target groups. This wasn't just a technical exercise; it was an experience full of challenges that demonstrated the power of creativity and teamwork.
This project proved that Saudi youth are capable of innovation and thinking beyond boundaries, and that the future holds many opportunities for those who have the courage to innovate and take action. The "Design Thinking Hackathon" at Misk Entrepreneurship was not just a passing event, but a movement toward a brighter tomorrow.
Achieving market success: Five of the ideas developed during the hackathon reached advanced stages in the market, managing to acquire a large customer base and enhancing Misk Foundation's presence as a leader in innovation.
Investment of One Million Riyals: Three of the projects that participated in the hackathon garnered significant attention from investors, resulting in investments worth millions of riyals. This financial support contributed to accelerating the implementation of the projects and expanding their impact.
Improving Customer Experience: Several ideas were implemented that directly contributed to enhancing the customer and visitor experience, increasing satisfaction and boosting interaction with the new services.
Developing Digital Services: One of the most significant outcomes was the launch of new digital applications designed during the hackathon, which contributed to improving access to Misk Entrepreneurship's services and enhancing engagement with the audience.
Fostering Innovation in Startups: The executed projects have strengthened Misk Entrepreneurship's position, making it a model to be emulated in the field of innovation and business development.
